Since I live in Los Angeles, I usually start my fall fashion game in October when the weather finally cools down and I’m no longer sweating in my knit outfits. (It’s fine. I’m fine.) Around this time of year, I’ll typically shop for pieces that I can wear straight through fall into winter, which is quickly creeping closer and closer.
Even my friends on the East coast agree that October is the best time for fall fashion. We also agree that when it comes to fall shopping, there’s no better place to turn to than Macy’s. Below, check out some of the pieces that influencers and fellow fashion editors are buying this month. You’ll find everything from straight-leg denim and knit skirts to casual sneakers and tall boots (which, by the way, I’ve already added to my cart).
Brenna Austin also lives in L.A. and is embracing true fall hues this month. See her picks below.
